Lychee Flower Honey – লিচু ফুলের মধু

বাংলাদেশে সাধারণত মার্চ মাসের দিকে লিচু ফুলের মধু সংগ্রহ করা হয়। লিচু বাগানগুলোতে যখন প্রচুর পরিমাণে লিচু ফুল ফুটতে শুরু করে, তখন আমাদের মৌ চাষিরা তাদের মৌ বাক্স গুলো লিচু বাগান ও আশেপাশে মৌ বক্সগুলো স্থাপন করে। তারপর ফুল বৃদ্ধি হওয়ার সাথে সাথেই মৌমাছিরা ওই এলাকা থেকে মধু সংগ্রহ করে তাদের মৌ বাক্সে জমা রাখতে শুরু করে। তারপর সেই চাকগুলো পূর্ণ হয়ে গেলে প্রাকৃতিক লিচু ফুলের খাঁটি মধু সংগ্রহ করা হয়।

লিচু ফুলের প্রাকৃতিক মধুর বৈশিষ্ট্যঃ

• দেখতে সাধারণত হালকা সোনালী রঙের হয় (তবে সময়, স্থান ও ঘন-পাতলার উপর নির্ভর করে কিছুটা হালকা অথবা গাঢ় হতে পারে)।
• ঘ্রাণ এবং স্বাদ অনেকটা লিচু ফলের মতো হয়ে থাকে এবং খেতে খুবই সুস্বাদু হয় 
• মধুর ঘনত্ব কম বা বেশি হতে পারে।
• সাধারণত লিচু ফুলের খাটি মধু সামান্য জমতে দেখা যায়। যদি মধু পাতলা হয় তাহলে সেটা কয়েকমাস পরে সামান্য জমতে পারে। আর যদি মধু খুবই ঘন হয় তাহলে সেটা দ্রুত জমতে শুরু করে এবং সম্পূর্ণ মধুই জমে যেতে পারে বা বেশীরভাগ জমতে পারে।

As the flowers flourish, the bees eagerly gather nectar, storing it in their hives. Once the honeycombs are full, the pure and natural lychee flower honey is harvested.

Distinctive Features of Natural Lychee Flower Honey:

• Appearance: It usually has a light golden color, though its shade can vary from lighter to darker depending on the time, location, and density.
• Aroma and Flavor: The honey carries a fragrance and taste reminiscent of fresh lychee fruit, making it incredibly delicious.
• Varied Density: The consistency of the honey may differ; it can be thin or thick.
• Crystallization: Authentic lychee flower honey may show slight crystallization. Thinner honey might crystallize a few months later, while thicker honey tends to crystallize quickly, often solidifying entirely or mostly.
